Looking for a positive and engaging guest speaker for your classroom, grade level, or even your entire school?

I bring a full visual presentation to your school where I read my illustrated children’s book, When I Grow Up! and work with students to visualize (with art materials) what they want to be when they are all grown up.

For older students, I customize my presentation to include the writing and ideation process from writing a rhyming poem, storyboarding and how to sketch/ color your work for editing. I emphasize students’ ability to tell their own stories and to imagine their unlimited potential.

I do not sell copies of my books during visits (I don’t like to have anyone feel left out. Over time, I have had parents ask if they could order signed copies of books after the visit and for that purpose, I have created an book order form to drop off a personally signed copy of my book delivered to the office for distribution to the child’s homeroom. I can write a message of your choice or a unique inscription by me (author’s choice).
